Acrylic Yarn

Acrylic fiber is the synthetic fiber that most closely resembles wool.

In 2011, Melike Tekstil decided to make new investments in its 22,000 m² enclosed production facility and began manufacturing carpet yarns made from wool, acrylic, wool-polyamide blends, and acrylic-wool blends.

At our acrylic yarn production facilities, we have a monthly production capacity of 2,250 tons and an annual capacity of 27,000 tons. With our state-of-the-art dyeing facility, we offer our customers a full range of colors tailored to their requirements.

Our acrylic yarn production facility manufactures yarns ranging from Nm 7 to Nm 54, using acrylic, wool, bamboo, Tencel, and blends of these fibers.

During production, shrinkable or relaxed yarns can also be manufactured according to customer requirements.
